On Tuesday, an 18-year-old from Dakota High School was involved in a serious pedestrian accident. Now, news sources are reporting that she succumbed to her injuries on Thursday and was pronounced dead.
At the time of the accident, Neeosha Nelson was crossing 21 mile Road at LeGrande in Macomb Township at 7:00 AM. While crossing the street, she was hit by a vehicle that was traveling eastbound.
The driver of the vehicle stopped to check on Nelson and police say that the resident remains cooperative with sheriff's deputies.
